I have thought about my children's personalities and definitely related it to whether they were similar to me or my dh.
Oh definitely!
Both of my children twirl their hair when they are thinking, something I don't do, but my mother does.
The only way I have ever compared my kids' personalities to Jim or me is how it affects how I relate to them.
