What issues? (ETA: I ask because I know a lot of people who were homeschooled and I haven't noticed any issues related to socialization.)

You keep saying things like "lost socialization" or "limited socialization".

"limited socialization" is a stereotype of homeschool families, i don't think they lack those skills but IMO there is this commonality that there is something god awful about the school system in general, gasp!

Why would people homeschool if they didn't think they could offer something better for their child than tradional schooling could offer?

I've never noticed homeschooling families have problems with "limited socialization." It's not like socialization can only happen in a classroom between 9 and 3, Monday through Friday.

I think I understand what you're saying, though I don't necessarily agree.
