But you have 4 out of 5 kids in school, right? So you can go during the day if you did the shopping even though, maybe I am incorrect, I thought you have said in the past your dh does all the food shopping (?).
Maybe later you can work out how to explain to people that "Why, yes, I *am* going to 'just sleep the day away'. Again. Like I did yesterday. So stop calling me at 3pm and asking if you woke me."
So true and what's really interesting is that often enough is moms themselves the ones judging or making this remarks.
You're right there is no way around it, we are all at some point going to encounter people "smarter than us" making suggestions to better our lives lol.
But for me. and I know a lot of sahm are in the same boat, is about compromising.
I don't particularly love being at home doing house work, it is not something that full-filled me, there are a lot of days that I would rather be at work, interacting with adults, feeling productive and appreciated, kids are kids, I don't expect them to appreciate all I do for them at this age, it is a given for them and I love taking care of them but some times can be lonely.
What DOES make this worth while, is the fact that I am lucky enough to get to stay

I did read your post and I think I missed interpreted it the first time.
I get your point now :)
I don't think anybody here has said that a particular mom status is busier than others.
The whole point is that we are all busy regardless what we do for a living.

ROFL.

Makes a lot of sense, I must had been particularly "sensitive" last time I heard it that I felt the need to vent here :)
I hope you ladies don't mind.
I do agree with you.
