I'm not concerned about either.
Of course you can -- but there's a difference b/w saying "hey this is what I did for my family and my family only based on our situation it was best" and phrasing it in such a way that insuates other moms got it wrong somehow...

Yes, but after how many posts and explanations, why I am still addressing this?
And really, would it have made a difference is I said, "hey, I thought it was best if I raised our children?" And does the above really have to be said in each and every reply? I said, "I feel" because it was personal as to how I felt.
I completely understand some of you took this statement one ways, several didn't. :)
If a friend came to you battling this decisions and said they felt they would be allowing someone else to raise their children, would you argue with them or ask them why they felt that way? If that friend did feel that way, would you try to convince them they shouldn't? Or would you think, if this is how she feels, maybe she shouldn't place her dd in day care?

"I think daycare providers should be paid like major league baseball players -- they are that important."
I think that parents can be just as valuable to their children but I do not see SAHPs being more valuable than WOHPs.
But any value that a parent has would never be able to be translated into money amounts because taking care of your own family is a responsibility not a job you are paid to do.
