WOH or SAH? 2 issues to consider

It seems to me that the decision to work outside the home (WOH) or stay-at-home (SAHM) involves TWO essential questions (the second of which seems to receive less attention in some forums and by some parents):

So I'll ask again --- why do you care what other parents do, or don't do?

As for baby sitters, I wasnt aware that only WOHM's used them. In fact, all SAHM's I know use sitters too at times.....

So while its great you SAH, I don't see why you care what others do with regard to their own children's care and communication, or, why you'd comment on sitters specifically as something you avoid by SAH. Not in the world that I know...sitters are used by SAH and WOH parents in the real world.

and i still don't buy your assertion that the people who were shopping for nannies in the classified ads are representative of daycare users generally

Did I assert anything like that?

<<Daycares abusing the kids! >>

And parents abusing kids. Parents abuse kids far more often than a dcp does.

You know, of course parents abuse kids, and of course we all know that abusers are far more likely to be immediate or extended family members.

I think no matter what I said, you would take it personal. I just don't agree with you.
