For those of you that WOH and say you have to do it to make ends meet. Do you really do it to make ends meet or do you do it cause you want to keep up a certain lifestyle? Do you know how to live with out debt or without having to keep up with the joneses?

From what I can tell, there was a post between you and PnJ in which a comment was made about a person being *lazy* (I think this was some kind of tangent about sah without children??). Egd then interjected comments about how she sah and spent time on messageboards, but that wohs were wasting employers time by being here (not an exact quote but that was the gist of it). I failed to find any relevence or connection, but you are welcome to scroll back through the messages and see if you can find something that makes it okay for someone who knows *zero* about another persons work life to try to imply that they are being unethical by posting here.

Because you use people's "habits" against them in arguing why WOH is wrong.

why are you inserting unethical, character, and hypocrisys about this subthread? i'd really like to know why this sort of subthread bothers you,but not others in which folks take turns slamming posters for other reasons?

p.s. thanks for finding where this started,though..yes,back there is where it started.

Sigh. The whole point is that *everyone* here could be doing something more productive, so making slams at others for being here is beyond hypocritical, and adds nothing to the debate.

Plus, unless you are sitting right next to the person at work, you absolutely have NO idea whether or not they are wasting their employers time. And unless you are signing their paychecks, it isnt anyones business to comment on it.

So we've gone from calling people on wasting employers time to calling them dishonest. Thats lovely. And sure, no implication of anyones lack of character

I dont have a dc provider and since I work for myself, the only time I am wasting is my own. I can be here off and on all day and still get my work done, and I am sure I am not alone in that ability. Maybe its too much of a stretch for some to be able to juggle?

And some of us still make a ton of money.

Is it your position that WOHMs should spend each minute of free time, when they are not WOH or sleeping, with their children?

My employer thinks nothing of asking me to travel for 12 hours on a Saturday, take a conference call at home on Sunday night at 10 pm.

It's just unusual for a full time WOHM to criticize the posting of only other part time or full time WOHMs.

Do you think my boss feels guilty that I spent my whole Saturday, until 9 pm, away from my family travelling on company business?
