For those of you that WOH and say you have to do it to make ends meet. Do you really do it to make ends meet or do you do it cause you want to keep up a certain lifestyle? Do you know how to live with out debt or without having to keep up with the joneses?

These are two separate issues. Joining the military is a choice. Being deployed isn't a choice. It is a consequence. Big difference.

No one knows when they enlist that they will be deployed. It is a high probablity just as having an accident while driving is a high probablity. However neither are a choice, they are a consequence.
