Yes that was exactly the post I was referring to, it was Yesmomma who didn't know what was going on. Maybe you should address your comments about not knowing what post anyone is talking about to her.

No assumptions or desparation here, it was my opinion that it was a ridiculous thing to compare. I am not ASSUMING anything about what Mbanc said or typed. I read it, I disagreed with it and I told her. Clear & simple.

You are taking this way too far.

Bottom line.

When you join the military it is a choice. The rest is a consequence. You do NOT chose to be deployed.

When you get in a car you are chosing to drive that car. If an accident occurs you did NOT chose that. That is a consquence

Actually, no she didn't.

I'M taking it to far!!!!!!!!!! Actually that is pretty funny. You are the one debating this one topic with at least 10 posters and I am only one of the posters responding to you.

I still disagree with you and your examples. That's not taking anything too far, it's a difference of opinion.

I am very sorry. I meant to say PKA. That was an error on my part.

It is very, very easy to choose not to be deployed. You do so by not enlisting.

beautiful story,mbanc!! thanks for sharing!!

that post is a prime example of why ld stigmas still exist, though - the less positive attitudes about them start at home. a shame, really.

It is too far. When you add in all this stuff about avoiding accidents etc. It doesn't change the fact that no one choses to be in an accident. Let me put it this way.

When you are driving and someone runs a red light and hits your car. Did you chose that?
When you are speeding down the road and you run a red light and hit someone. Did you chose that?

Did you chose these things? OR Are they a consequence?

Who are these 10 posters? Can you name them?
