Recently I thought about taking some time off when I have my baby because my stupid job won't gaurantee that you have a position if you take over 3 months. My plan will be to take a min of 5 months off & if I don't have a job, then stay home with my baby until I can find another job closer to home & get adequate day care.
Believe me, working mothers don't have it easy and would love to be with their children but these !(@*& employers make it harder for you. Grant it, I wasn't expecting to take a paid leave for the entire time but at least let me have some kind of job security.
Yes, I am.

"Doesn't that depend on the task at hand?"
It sure does.
"And why single out accountants?"
Because the poster that I was responding to is an accountant, correct?
um,what's your point?
let's pretend my *total* number of posts here through the course of many years was 12,620 (identical to yours, but far from close)....that time was never at another's expense.
