I am a stay at home mom of 2 beautiful children. One is 3 and one will be 6 very soon and is in the first grade.for quite a long time i have been torn between staying at home or working and really don't know which way to turn.I sometimes feel that i am not contributing the way that i should and that feeling really gets to me, but at the same time my youngest only has to wait one more year before she is old enough to be accepted into the preschool program that is held in the same school building that my oldest child is in. i have been ridiculed people including certain in laws about my current decision to remain home a little longer. they can say a lot of not so nice things about me(ie:that i'm being lazy and being an unfit parent)neither of which are true because not only do i take care of everyone in my home but i'm teaching my 3 year old too.can someone please give me advice on what i should do?

"my comments were rude.you are right, but they were rude only in defense of certain others rude comments and will continue to be so"

"An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind."
"She who is without sin should cast the first stone....."
"You can only change your own behavior..."

well i don't believe that i'm living in sin and my behavior doesn't need changing .why don't you look back about 40 to 50 comments back and then you will understand why i felt a reason to be rude.as i said before it's one thing to give constuctive criticism over my issue but to just assume that we use my mom in law "like a bank"was extremely rude and that person has it completely wrong

our family shares things with one another even money from time to time but most of us don't ask about another member's money situation or how the money is going to be spent we just give.the only person in the whole family that seems untrusting of everyone else is the mom in law,and we always give her cash when she needs it and we never ever ask about anything.both my man and myself feel that she should

My post had absolutely NOTHING to do with your *private* life. It was totally about your posting style and your posts on this thread. This is another excellent example of how you are jumping to conclusions and inferring things that posters are NOT remotely implying.

I have read all the posts in this thread and you were the one who initially attacked EGD after *you* misinterpreted her rather kind remarks and suggestions.

You seem to want to debate your life and not sahm/wohm. So I am done with this thread.

Ewwww, I really need not be PG to have that idea eek me out.

On a lighter note, whenever I saw my grandpa as a kid, he would pull me aside and in a conspiratorial tone ask if I had any money. When I said "no", he always gave me five bucks on the grounds that "this way the dogs won't pee on you."

I do not remember anyone making a moral judgment of your relationship status. The questions about your marital status had to do with practical, financial issues.

1.) Thank you.

2.) In post 19271.36, you said "don't pee on me and i won't pee on you". Hence, the whole golden shower mention.
