The Working Mom and Custody Issues

I came out on my own at 43 weeks. My son came out on his own at 39 weeks. My friend's child came out on her own at 27 weeks. Children come on their own at a wide range of times, sometimes whether or not it's healthy for them to do so. I'm sure your son was very healthy and was ready to come out at 38 weeks. That would have been 5 weeks early for me. Individual variation doesn't mean that 38 weeks is the same as 40 weeks across the board.
