The walking alone thing again?

Do you think that your tween or teen is more at risk among peers and their various influences, e.g. drinking alcohol, drugs, unprotected sex, date rape, than walking alone in a dark place? I see those risks as an equal gender opportunity, don't you?

It's more of a trust thing, he has proven that he is capable of attending the movies without his parents beside him and he has shown that he is capable of attending sporting events at his school with friends, without his parents present.


It's not like he's leaving school and heading to home or elsewhere on his own, he's at school, where he wants to be.

Does than mean that your parents should not have let you go to events unsupervised like you stated that they did?

Does it also mean that you will not ever let your child go to any events unsupervised?
