One day I'm going to join you all on a Maine beach weekend and you and I are going to run along the beach holding scarves over our heads.

That should probably happen AFTER some beers or margaritas ;)

No margaritas for me, please. Mr. Cuervo and I had a rough break-up years ago.

I'll wave a scarf and sip (uh-huh) wine though.

ROFL! First off, I LOVE a good Friends rerun marathon.

If the writer thinks THAT is bad, try having cancer and see what you get in your inbox @@. My favorite recently was one that listed as one of the "liberating" and "cool" things you could do after cancer (because of the enlightenment and soul liberation you achieved) bungee jumping. I kid not.

Now, prior to cancer I had absolutely no desire to jump off a cliff with a rubber band tied to my feet. That is not because I was uptight or scared. It just seemed like a really unpleasant and stupid thing to do, and if I want some excitement in my life, I can think of so many other things to do that might actually have some sort of meaning or purpose. So, if that is how I felt before cancer, then why the heck should cancer make me want to go bungee jump?

Absolutely.  Although it's way less dangerous than bungee jumping, it's probably not any more sensible, tho ;)
