It's not often that we have a 3 day weekend because the University where both DH and I teach doesn't cancel classes for things like Columbus Day or President's Day. But we are off for the summer by Memorial Day. Our church usually takes over a camp over the weekend, so when the kids were small we would go up there for three days of canoeing, fishing, baseball, horseback riding, etc. About two years ago the kids announced that they were done with all that, so now we seem to be between traditions. The weather has been really nasty here so I still have summer flower pots to put together -- we are about two weeks behind in all our summer ooutdoor work. Hope to get caught up if it stays dry for long enough.

Do you usually do anthing for three day weekends? -- Sometimes. We usually just enjoy having the extra day. Rarely do we do anything "big".

Any plans for this weekend? -- Yes, we'll go to my parents' on Sat night and then to my cousin's on Sunday for a family reunion (mom's family; annual thing).

Here it is just a regular weekend. We did work last weekend, and dh has had a hellish week, so I told him he would have to take a day off this weekend. My idea was to do something pleasant, like go down to the sea and eat fish or something. However, I had forgotten that one of the uncles is having his 80th birthday party on Sunday, so that will end up being our "relaxation" outing. Oh well, maybe next week.

Most of my weekend will be involved in gardening.

Dh works for the Church, so the is no such thing as a three day weekend for him. Besides his usual five Masses, he has three gigs this weekend.

I'm off Monday. It actually doesn't work out well for us. If our office closes, we still have to treat the same number of patients in less time. It makes for a very busy week afterwards.
