1.  What's your weather on a Christmas scale?  White Christmas (cold)?  Disney Christmas  (Florida winter)?  Caribbean Christmas (Barbados winter)?

2.  Do you have any preparations left before Christmas?  If so, what's the preparation you're most looking forward to?  The least?

3.  What thing did you do for yourself today that you're glad you took the time for?

My day before Christmas answers.

1.  What's your weather on a Christmas scale?  White Christmas (cold)?  Disney Christmas  (Florida winter)?  Caribbean Christmas (Barbados winter)?  Not white Christmas cold but cold.  It's bright and sunny but in the 30s.  After unseasonably warm temperatures in the low 60s and mid-50s, today it feels really cold.  But since we've had nasty rain the last two days, the bright sunshine today is quite welcome!

2.  Do you have any preparations left before Christmas?  If so, what's the preparation you're most looking forward to?  The least?  Not much - waiting on dough to chill to make sugar cookie cutouts.  I have a few gifts left to wrap.  Normally I do them all late on Christmas Eve in front of the fire with a bottle of wine, but had some time on my hands so wrapped them little by little and now only have a few left.  My family is coming for supper tomorrow so I need to clean but will wait until tomorrow morning to do that.  I'm done with shopping for the most part.  I don't usually exchange gifts with my brother's family but always feel weird about it and get them something at the last minute.  Of course, it's now the last minute and have no idea what to get them.  The thing I look forward to most today is Christmas Eve Mass this evening with my family.  Thing I look forward to least is being woken at the crack of dawn who can't sleep a minute more in anticipation of opening their gifts.

3.  What thing did you do for yourself today that you're glad you took the time for?  It's too early in the day to say but I gather I won't do much of anything for myself today unless I can motivate myself to go for a run.  If not, I suppose it will be a glass of wine in front of the fire tonight with dh after the kids go to bed.

Somewhere between Disney and Barbados. It's been very muggy with near-record breaking temps. It was 86 yesterday. Eighty-flippin-six!

2.  Do you have any preparations left before Christmas?  If so, what's the preparation you're most looking forward to?  The least?

No, I'm all done, with the exception of figuring out how I'm going to get Santa's stash from my storage unit to my living room tomorrow night...

3.  What thing did you do for yourself today that you're glad you took the time for?

I'm going to answer this as if it was Sunday, because so far today I have not done anything for myself. Yesterday after doing my final shopping, I went home and took a nap. It felt amazing. Then last night we all camped out in front of the Christmas tree, although I "cheated" as DS says, and got up around 2am to climb into bed. My back was killing me.

1.  What's your weather on a Christmas scale?  White Christmas (cold)?  Disney Christmas  (Florida winter)?  Caribbean Christmas (Barbados winter)? -- Cold, but no snow.  We have about 1/2" of ice all overy the trees and other surfaces, but that might melt by Christmas Day.

2.  Do you have any preparations left before Christmas?  If so, what's the preparation you're most looking forward to?  The least? -- two presents left to buy.  Grocery shopping.  Some more housecleaning.  Not looking forward to any of it! lol

3.  What thing did you do for yourself today that you're glad you took the time for? -- I took a long, hot bath.

1.  Cold and maybe a possibility of a flurry, last week it was in the 70's, the week before that snow and ice.

2.  Yes, still need to wrap everything.  I enjoy wrapping, I watch a movie and enjoy a glass of wine.

3.  I stopped at Starbucks this morning for scones and a seasonal latte.

Terrible.  60s and rainy.  It should be cold and snowy on Christmas.  The inlaws kept remarking on how wonderful the weather was yesterday.  Blech. It's supposed to get colder and possibly snow by tomorrow.  Fingers crossed.

2.  Do you have any preparations left before Christmas?  If so, what's the preparation you're most looking forward to?  The least?

I still need to make pecan tassies.  I made the dough yesterday, so I'll finish them up today.  I also need to make cranberry salsa to take to my parents' house on Christmas eve and rolls and this http://blogs.mydevstaging.com/blogs/daily-dish/files/2011/12/vegan.jpg for Christmas dinner at our house (DH is making the turkey, stuffing, and probably the mashed potatoes).  I also need to go to the grocery store to buy the ingredients for those things. I have to wrap a few more things, but it shouldn't take too long.  I also need to clean, since everyone is coming over on Christmas day.  I am not looking forward to the cleaning.

3.  What thing did you do for yourself today that you're glad you took the time for?

Nothing yet, but Saturday I took a nice nap, which was quite nice.

1.  What's your weather on a Christmas scale?  White Christmas (cold)?  Disney Christmas  (Florida winter)?  Caribbean Christmas (Barbados winter)? Probably more like San Fransisco, sunshine and about 55 (F).

2.  Do you have any preparations left before Christmas?  If so, what's the preparation you're most looking forward to?  The least? I am thinking I may get a present for DH and we have to food shop and cook.

3.  What thing did you do for yourself today that you're glad you took the time for? Going by yesterday, after doing my Christmas shopping and some other stuff, I went to the gym and left DD in charge of making dinner. She made an excellent "pasta fasul" and a salad of carrots and celery root.

Well today it was almost 60 and by Christmas it will be in the 20's.

2.  Do you have any preparations left before Christmas?  If so, what's the preparation you're most looking forward to?  The least?

I am doing Christmas Eve so everything for that from cleaning the house to preparing the food. Started getting everything out tonight to clean, the china, the dishes for the dessert, turkey. Going to clean up the turkey tomorrow, get all the junk out lol. Make up the table tomorrow night. Not looking forward to the cleaning as soon as I clean it, it will get messed up again. I look forward to making the food and having everyone enjoy it and opening up presents. Oh and making the pie for Christmas Eve.

3.  What thing did you do for yourself today that you're glad you took the time for?

Relaxing a little bit and taking my time getting ready for the day.

1. It's cold. 28 for a high today. I don't know where that falls on your scale because it's been dropping freezing rib rather than snow. 2. The house is all decorated and the gift-wrapping frenzy has begun. Still have a couple of stores to hit. Emergency trip to the post office tomorrow. Lots of cleaning, baking, and cooking in the next few days. 3. I took a nap and saved my marriage.

A cross b/w spit rain and warm air, Just took my dog for a walk.  If you're asking how prepared I am for Christmas, very prepared, I just have the girls' last two gifts to wrap but need two more gift boxes first.  Enjoyed a nice cup of coffee or three with DH before the kids got up, He surprised them/us with dunkin donuts for a change which was a treat too.

The closest on your list would be Florida although a bit colder.  Our highs should be in the low 50s all week about 10 degrees below normal.

I  have one present to wrap, it was on unplanned purchase, after I bought some items for my DDs I received and  e-mail saying that I could get a free coffee mug so I got one for DD3.  Aside from that I only have the prep for the dinner.  It is lasagna so pretty labor intensive so I guess that would be my least favorite.  I will do it on Christmas Eve and then cook it on Christmas.

Went for a bike ride.
