1. If you work, how many days are you off for the 4th? If not, spouse or so?

2. Any plans for the 4th?

3. Any plans for the rest of the summer?

My company closed for 2 days, I took off the week-only 3 days of my own though needed to take :) Dh only off for the 4th.

2. Any plans for the 4th? Nothing really. We always take the kids to see some firework show and we will do that again this year.

3. Any plans for the rest of the summer? Kids are starting camp next week and we do have some plans but can't tell :)

1. If you work, how many days are you off for the 4th? If not, spouse or so? I'm off on Friday.

2. Any plans for the 4th? We're going to my mom's house for a cookout and then meeting my MIL for fireworks.

3. Any plans for the rest of the summer? DH's dad may be coming to visit. We may also go to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

I'm taking the summer off. DH has the holiday off.

2. Any plans for the 4th?
We're having a BBQ at my grandparents house. There is a burn ban, though, so our usual backyard fireworks extravaganza won't be on the agenda except for some fountains and sparklers.

3. Any plans for the rest of the summer?
Not really. Just learning how to balance an infant and a toddler, and preparing my fall courses.

We don't really work set hours for most of the summer, but I start teaching summer school two hours a day for four weeks on the 6th, so my playtime is pretty much over.

2. Any plans for the 4th?

We always go over to the kids' godparents, who live outside the city limits, and have a barbecue and shoot off fireworks. This is a turning point for us and I am feeling all nostalgic because the older one has other plans and will not be joining the family for the party. First time every the four of us are not together for a major holiday, and I am sure it is not the last time. Sigh.

3. Any plans for the rest of the summer?

Teaching summer school; teaching Bible School; giving a few public talks dealing with the 40th anniversary of the moon landing, maybe going to see Buzz Aldrin in Houston and Charlie Duke in Kansas with the younger one. He's still astronaut crazy and getting to meet any of the Mercury through Apollo astronauts is a big treat and won't be possible for too much longer. Trying to get good tickets for the All Stars game in St Louis and maybe going to fanfest.
