Iam a owner. I make perfect sense. I aslo went back to add i feel the same way when i go out to eat, as a customer.
Yes we allow seperte checks within reason. after 5:30 no one can get seperate check's for parties over five during the rush and our wait.
Sunday brunch is very different.
What does this have to do with your post making sense?
I sometimes do both. Leave the tip the server deserves and express my concerns to the management.
But that is very rare. It is extremely rare that the service is poor enough to warrant that.
Of course most professional can be in the weeds and deal with seperate checks for big parties. that is not the point, imo there is no reason to focus on this type of time consuming service during the busy hours.
<,And it is also my right as a fellow waitress and person that eats out at resturants to not agree with your policy.>>
i never said it was not.

A sepreate check is fine withing reason. FOr us it is not reasonable to expect your waitress to seperate a customers check for a party over five during the rush.
Okay I see your point.
Oh i know you dont agree, i respect that. :)
We have owned many differnt types of resturaunts. We are opening a bar and grill hopefully May 19 is opening day, we also own a sports bar in Naples Florida, New england themed. We are selling that. And opening a bistro. we are high volume resturaunts.
