(Totally OT, not SAH/WOH related, so feel free to not respond)

I went out with 5 other women to dinner last night.

It's common sense that a majority of people would believe a software programmer's opinion about software over the opinion of someone who has shown themselves to be an expert on just about nothing. (shrug) Just common sense!

I dont care what ppl think on this board your the one making it into a personal debate and the claims you make about me make it obvious, you simply do not like my views. Your problem.

Your posts that my claims are false are very insulting, and very presumptuous.

Right back atcha the difference is Iam not offended or insulted, at all by your views. I know that you cannot split checks with one click. PERIOD. You cannot open and close a check with one click. You can claim you can until your blue in the face the fact is it is virtually IMPOSSIBLE. Simplified over the years yes. Your opinions do not prove that is does not waste time during our wait or rush and that we don not split big parties during a rush or wait.

I do not see your credentials in owning a resturaunt and from what you claim here i doubt you... by the fact that you say that a one-click process in splitting eight checks IS totally ridiculous.

This is a total straw man. She never said that you could open, split, and close a check with one click. She only said you could split the a check with 8 people on it into 8 separate checks with one click. I don't see how a person who happens to use a certain type of software could *possibly* know more than someone who wrote that software, but I guess we all live in our own little worlds.

Yeah i know that is what she said i have addressed that but the fact of the matter IS as a softwre designer she would know for a fact you cannot split eight checks with one click of a button. think about it. If your splitting eight check, it would take at least eight clicks just to seperate. Let alone follow thru with the transaction of splitting eight checks. The point is any transaction takes more than one click to open, begin, order and close.

" A expert on just about nothing." so you have a problem with my views also. I am not the one claiming to be the expert. I Know for a fact you cannot split checks with one click og a button and you should not have to be a software programmer to fiqure that out.

The problem is, my opinion and my choices in my buisness bothers you and a few others.

Other than that as i said there is no debate.

Whatever, hon. You ended with "open, begin, order, and close" again. You're quite right that noone could do that with one click. Where you are wrong is in implying that anyone said you could.

As a customer in any buisness there ar things you HAVE to do. If YOU have a problem you need to go to the managment. When a manager asks you how things are you need to speak up not doing what you feel obligated to do unless you do not want your problem solved.

I have a problem with you calling another poster a liar, and somehow pretending that owning a restaurant means that you know all facts about all restaurant software. *That* is what is a little hard to believe. But if you want to think that, it's fine with me. I don't have a problem with "your views". I just think you're wrong. Happens a lot on a debate board, if it hurts your feelings, maybe debate boards aren't your thing.
