(Totally OT, not SAH/WOH related, so feel free to not respond)

I went out with 5 other women to dinner last night.

i gotta insert an ITA,pnj.....i'm thinking snobby, arrogance is in the eye of the one judging that, too. i mean if you're at a required coat and tie restaurant and you're turned away because your guy isn't wearing that, then i suppose that may warrant a snobby, arrogant call. i just call that sophisticated dining - more power to them!! :)

I don't think anyone is talking about somebody turned away for not following the dress code or other rules of the restaurant in question. That's not snobby or arrogant, is it? Although I'm not sure I'd call it "sophisticated dining," either. I think of sophistication in dining in terms to the food you're eating, not what you're wearing while you eat it.

Do you have to pay fees for withdrawing cash at ATM's that are not your own?

actually i've maintained that it is unreasonable for me, and others *here*. and/or that my experiences are indeed regional. there are some experiences that i would say are safe to apply across the board - such as the amount of time it takes to proccess a credit card - thats pretty much the same anywhere you go.

i didn't think i had to continually restate that fact.

the part that everyone is missing is that they don't treat you poorely while eat unless you do something that they feels warrents it.

examples could be, belching at the table. snapping at the staff (as in, with your fingers - or "snapping" with your mouth) or yelling. asking about prices on amenu taht intentionally leaves the prices off, asking for slpit checks, eating with your fingers, stealing the bread for "later". the list could go on and on.

they don't walk up to the table as you're being seated and yell at you or anything, it isn't the roadkill cafe LOL.

and, particularly speaking WRT what *i* brought up, i said they wouldn't be likley to take your reservation again - not that the staff berates you in front of other customers.

i aslo said taht waitsatff judges the patrons - out of ear shot. which is true.
