(Totally OT, not SAH/WOH related, so feel free to not respond)

I went out with 5 other women to dinner last night.

I agree the *total* bill would be more than $20 per person, but were the *entrees* mostly over $20?

Ive had ice wine before, that is a dessert wine. Too sweet for my taste.

But I think there is too much emphasis put on what wine to drink when...

Id never order a shot in a really classy place. I dont even normally order shots in a local pub... Not in a long time anyway. I know the classy places look down a lot of behavior, which I wouldn't do there anyway, I'm not looking to set any trends or make statements :)

I still do not like that sort of attitude, that just because a place is classy, it get this holier than thou attitude (sometimes). Which is why I prefer not to go to those places if I can help it.

I said before I prefer comfortable casual places. And even then I doubt I'd order a shot. ;)

Heck, I prefer my red wine slightly chilled. That probably puts me into the "unclassy" category.

I didn't know you weren't suppose to chill red wine until my dad told me that putting the red wine in the fridge was a faux pas. He just laughed about it. But I do see how white is better chilled and red isn't. Oh well... I have no issues with chilled red though
