I said moose because that is what I used to call DD2 who came out at a whopping 7 lbs 1 oz because she was so much bigger than I was used to. By the way my little 4 lb 11 oz mouse was full term. We just tend to have small babies in our family. I think my DD3 at 7 lb 6 oz was the largest baby in my family in both my generation and her generation. DD1 is still tiny. 5 ft tall and about 95 lbs, think Sally Field.

Whew. A little moment of peace and quiet.

SO...

I may not have all the details because I only caught about half the episodes last season but here's what I know.

Last season on Angel, his son Connor comes back as a teen from the hell-type of the world that he grew up in. There is this woman who supposed to be God-like that Connor depends on but she ends up eating people... anyway, not that important :)

So the Angel gang defeats this people-eating woman then they find themselves together again then poof! Lila (or her ghost, since her throat had been slashed by Wesley and she had died) appears to offer them this deal where they can have access to W&H and they can do their "demon fighting" with W&H's help. Angel, etc. are all very suspicious but Angel ends up making this unilateral decision to accept the offer. It turns out that W&H agreed to give Angel 2 things: Connor gets this new happy happy life with a new family (without any knowledge of his previous hellish life, including any memory of Angel), and W&H has to help Angle save Buffy and Sunnydale. SO... WRT to the second part, W&H gives Angel this amulet which according them, "will be worn by the champion, who will save them." Angel, wearing the amulet, shows up in Sunnydale, ready to fight the EVIL. But at the last minute, Buffy asks Spike to wear the amulet instead of Angel. (I'm not sure what that was all about). So Spike does, saved them all, then dies. BUT I guess there's some weird connection between the amulet and W&H because the next thing we know, Spike is tied to W&H. Whenever he tried to leave the city of LA, he finds himself back at the W&H building. Now, my question is, did W&H want ANGEL to be tied to them or did they really know what was going to happen and actually wanted SPIKE? Is there some role that Spike will play in their grand scheme to control the universe?

I don't think anyone knows what the alterior motive W&H has that led them to take the Angel gang in.

OH, and WRT, Cordelia, she was pg (by Connor... I know. kind of yuck. they "did it" when they thought the world was going to end) and gave birth to the people-eating woman I mentioned above. I didn't see the episode, but I think she died. I actually think she is working on her own show on another channel.

Anyway, now WHO needs a life? LOL!

I was 9, and I remember watching the news coverage for Cabbage Patch Dolls that year, people fistfighting in stores over them. I got one for Christmas that year too, and I remember wondering who my mom had beat up to get one!

I am so glad other people like Angel. I watch it and my DH just laughs at me. He actually cheered when Buffy finished. He keeps teasing me that he is going to send me to detox for Buffy and Law and Order. Now that Law and Order SUV is on USA and the orginal is on TNT, I always have something to watch.

Also, if you miss a episode of Angel, there is a great site that does recaps-Television with Pity. It is snarky but quite funny.
