considering boycotting iVillage until they get rid of that stupid advertisement at the top of the page that keeps randomly expanding and collapsing?

I've considered it but I'm way too addicted to actually follow through. We could try complaining to customer support at the very bottom of the screen.

I'm using Firefox and it's still doing it. It says "Firefox prevented this site from opening a popup window", but I still have the ad opening and closing when I refresh the page or move to the next post.

Shall we start a chapter of iVillage anonymous? Hello, my name is Chris, and I'm addicted to iVillage message boards. Apparently, though, iVillage has "fixed" the problem. At least, that ad is no longer at the top of the page.

Hello Chris. The first step is admitting that you have a problem. I've been assigned as your buddy. If you feel tempted to get on iVillage, just email me through my profile and, oh wait, no - dang, this is going to be hard....
