This is one of the drawbacks of a small town. Other than the farmer's market, we don't have many organic options -- those that we do have are fairly expensive.

Even at the farmer's market, there are very few certified organic things. But even those merchants that choose not to go to the trouble and expensive of getting certified, I kind of treat as organic - they're local, use no pesticides, etc.

Can't wait til spring and the farmer's market is in full swing again.

No cars usually allowed for freshmen IME.

Think outside the box and your experience, I'm sure you can come up with more ways of getting off campus than a freshman driving.

I do shop at macys and buy 99% of rl items there.

That's a bummer, try the RL stores....much better selection and service, imo.

Uhmm...yeah Snowbunny. You don't seem to be grasping the connection between offering good quality merchandie and the willingness to stand behind it, so I am not sure where to go from here.

Who? My dad and me? We were thinking he was a guy who was overly impressed by labels and status.

Not really. Growing without pesticides and other chemicals is much more expensive to bring produce and meat to market. You may not care about such things, but it is not unnecessary markup.

Nah ah ha maybe just the ones that do have these guarantees know their things are not as well quality. ??

That isn't a logical conclusion because if their merchandise was not good quality they would have a ton of returns and lose money.

Really not a logical conclusion, at all. lol
