1. Has your weekend been busy or relaxing?

2. How often do you dust?

3. Are you excited for March Madness?

<<Yes we do. Little league doesn't use them to have an earlier season. >>

Ime, that isn't what indoor facilities are used for, they are used so that kids are ready when the season starts, not to push up the season earlier.  Watching my kids practice a few years ago it was so cute to see the little guys in there taking bp and throwing the ball around.  Good exercise!

<<Late, according to you. Same time as every year here, again, for Little League>>

Well, you asked me what "late" was, so I gave my opinion based on my observations.  If it's the same time every year there, then why would a cold winter be relevant as you said before?

<<What is rough?>>

Getting new kids on an exsisting team when the season has already started.

That's nice and in YOUR experience. I guess it works either way as my son was in the same league years ago and it all worked out with the timing too. Shrug.

YOU are considering it late. I am just going by what I was told. Maybe it IS late. I don't know. I have indicated that it is cold here into April and we have had a lot of snow this year so maybe that is why they might have pushed it up later. I don't know when they usually start every year if it is later this year or not but one of the coaches we spoke to said that they have found that the beginning of April for games has been too cold. Maybe they have made them later. It really isn't relevant to me.

Actually I thought they were pretty darn cute, even if it was just my experience.  Who said anything about it not working out?  That's an odd statement.

You asked me, if you didn't want my opinion on late or not, why ask?  Plus, I never said it was late, I specifcally said otherwise.  I'm not sure why you need to go back and forth on the whole weather thing, but whatever.

Oh, I didn't know you coached, what sport do you coach?

I did coach Cheerleading at one time but why do you need to BE a coach to know how they feel? I would think the leagues would consult them first to see if taking in kids late would be a hassle for them. We have had kids join football in the middle of the season too. My friend was the coach and he didn't have a problem with it. Shrug.

Because they are the ones in that position and I would that hope your friend wouldn't be sharing such information with other parents, even if they were friends. Good for him.

Coaching/organization/admistration issues....they shouldn't be shared with a parent, even one who is a friend.

What issues? It is advertised every year that you can sign up after the season starts. It is also obvious when kids start after the season starts.

I guess it could be for some coaches and teams. Some I guess not. Shrug.
