Umm, it's not a European things around here. To put it bluntly, it's a 'hood thing; an Ebonics thing.

Eh! Technically, but most of the time, I would consider it idiomatic, as in "worst case scenario" or "worst comes to worst" and so on. It is very common for people to use 'worse' where 'worst' is the correct word.

No, it is just a dialectical variant. In the US it happens to be common in "the hood."

ETA: Indo-European, not European, i.e. it is a linguistic thing specific to the Indo-European language family, and it is common for dialects to retain older forms than the mainstream language. It is a general rule that a language changes more rapidly the more speakers it has.

LOL, ok, but that is a different problem. ;) I tend to find dialects charming for the most part. The one word that probably bugs me the same way that 'aks' bugs you is 'nucular'.
