People that wake up everyday to sunshine regardless of the actual weather, whose lives look peachy perfect b/c of their demeanor, whose energies and smiles motivate you or make you want to strangle them...

Or do you?

My kids learned to keep "gratitude journals" in Sunday School; "Count Your Blessings" is a hymn we sing on a regular basis, my kids have done gratitude trees in school, etc. I'd say it's fairly common.

Cool, And if those journals carry you through every trial then more power to you. I think a lot of life is unpredictable, A mom that can find the right thing to say when her kid feels/felt defeated then she is doing a wonderful thing. And btw, that mom isn't religous, I wonder if she's ever taken that for granted like this since you think it's pretty common.

Psst, She's said she's "baffled" by what others do.  That must be it, Nobody understands adversity like her.

"Psst, She's said she's "baffled" by what others do. That must be it, Nobody understands adversity like her." That's unfair, mean-spirited, and I once would have thought, totally beneath you.

That's cheap bord, There's nothing UNfair about what I wrote as the accusations have been all about what she thinks others make her do... If you feel that same way then you are unfairly picking at others too. Your defenses continue to be at nonsense, Debate the topic if you want to.

I am not DEFENDING nonsense, I am on the offensive against it. Your statements about Rolls are unfair and mean-spirited, and yes non-sensical in the literal sense. And your admonition to me, to "debate the topic," is so hypocritical as to be risible.

No, my posts have been about nothing of the kind. I would urge you to reread, but I have tried that for a good ten years to no avail.

Bord, let it go. This got pointless a while back, and the nastiness is getting emetic.

Calm down bord.  And no, this isn't about mops but about how different people live their lives, The offense comes from you and those you defend that accuse others of forcing you to believe differently than you do, that's not been said or implied anywhere.  No adversity is unique and many, many people deal differently than you do.

Yes mops, When discussion and debate turns into sloppy and accusatory statements it's time to let it go.
