People that wake up everyday to sunshine regardless of the actual weather, whose lives look peachy perfect b/c of their demeanor, whose energies and smiles motivate you or make you want to strangle them...

Or do you?

Somehow I really doubt you've accomplished in terms of savings/investments what we'd accomplished by the time we were your combined ages, Fall. But go ahead and be "sorry" if it makes you feel better.

Maybe, maybe not. I am sure I am also enjoying myself more though then you did at my age and younger.

Yes, I do remember that.  It is quite interesting how the story had changed over the years!

What do you know of my life, Jamblessed? I think you are hung up on our travel, maybe not realizing that much of our travel is work-related. We really don't live high on the hog.

So the majority of your work-related travel has always been paid for by the school, correct?

But your still trying to pay off you home since 1995? We've paid ours off since 2000. How much do you owe?

Why are you having this competition and how on earth do you know that?

The selling price on our home was $269K.

Sorry to hear that your home is worth less than that now Frown

No I read that...but you still haven't defined what "things" those are.

Anything that would you would have done if your physical or mental problems did not stop you.

So you don't have any examples.  Thanks, that's what I thought.  LoL

Isn't change wonderful? I would hate to not have any changes and growth in my life ever.

What year did you buy your home?

Not sure why you think I would divulge that information here lol.

Oh you misread my statement.  I didn't say that you have changed since then, you haven't really, still the same.  LoL  Now your story, about  those early years?  That has totally changed many times, lol.

"Maybe, maybe not. I am sure I am also enjoying myself more though then you did at my age and younger." I doubt that as well. The kinds of things that you enjoy now are not the kinds of things I enjoyed when I was younger. I've seldom had times in my life when I couldn't do the things I enjoyed. Perhaps not on the scale, I would have liked, but we always found a way.

Well my examples might be different than yours. One of mine would be traveling. Can't think of anything yourself that you might not be able to do later in life because of physical or mental issues?

Again, stories change because situations change.
