How much time do you/spouse get off for Christmas?

How are you doing on getting ready for Christmas?

Are you hosting Christmas or going somewhere?

How much time do you/spouse get off for Christmas? -- We get six paid holiday days and have to take one mandatory paid leave day.

My husband only gets the official holiday off, meaning Monday.

I do not usually do Christmas cards but I am doing a few this year, for work. I will complete those before I leave the office today.

The semester has ended, so I'm off work now until January. DH is taking the last two weeks off. I'm behind on Christmas preparations--still have some shopping & mailing to do, and I haven't wrapped anything or sent any cards. We finished decorating the tree last night and I have a few more things to put up around the house. Both kids are having small Christmas parties over the weekend. We're going to dh's parents for Christmas day and my sister's for Christmas Eve, so not too much cooking for me this year.

How much time do you/spouse get off for Christmas? Dh would work on Christmas if he could get away with it. But dd is coming and it was his idea, so he will have to cook Christmas dinner for her.

How are you doing on getting ready for Christmas? For me, great! I have put up the tree, which is a foot high, seriously, and plastic. I have also bought presents for dd, small, silly things and that is probably all she is getting. I will still have to get something for my god child, but that is it.

Are you hosting Christmas or going somewhere? We will be here.

I will have a reduced sewing schedule between Christmas and New Year's.

How much time do you/spouse get off for Christmas?

My last day of class is Saturday and, so far, it looks as though my primary work client is going to slow down a bit around the holidays. If they do, I'll take the next three weeks to rest, read books that aren't published by Pearson, paint our basement family room, and clean my house until it squeaks. If for some reason my main work client decides to get started on the next big project, I'll probably dedicate some time to doing that, but it won't be my priority.

My husband won't get any official time off with Christmas falling on a Sunday. His job is flexible but not negotiable, if that makes sense. Sometimes he manages to go in for just a few hours in the afternoon during the week between Christmas and New Year's.
