I know this is going to come off selfish when so many others have true problems today (and every day) that I could not imagine dealing with but I thought this may be a fun thread.

LOL. I have like two place settings of nice china. I keep meaning to add to it, but haven't had the chance. Our main everyday dishes are Fiestaware in a multitude of colors. I may go up to the factory in Wheeling next year and just buy a bunch of scarlet and juniper plates. I think they will look awesome for Christmas dinner.

I like the idea of using red fiestaware to round out a table full of white china. And Fiestaware is really great for kids. It's hard to break.

Hmm. Maybe I'll try that . . . Maybe it'll inspire me to buy some wrapping paper and other Christmas stuff while it's on sale.

My Christmas weekend stressors:

Keeping all of the small pieces of the boys' toys away from the baby, who is determined to put everything into her mouth.

I think this thread may have convinced me to go buy some red Fiestaware after Christmas. Or maybe at the next factory sale in Wheeling--I've heard good things about that, and isn't it sometimes the same weekend as the All-Clad sale?

Yes, once or twice a year. It may not be in Wheeling. I know this year I saw a sign for one in Washington, PA, which is not too far from Wheeling (straight up 79N).
