I was reading about the Kansas City Secret Santa today and thought how much fun that would be. It made me start thinking what I would do if I had 40k to spare. So here are some questions.

1. If you had unlimited amounts of money, what type of Random Acts of Kindness would you do? At Christmas or otherwise.

2.

So you don't care that they don't use your donations for the needy?

What would be the difference if you just threw them away then?

I know how they used my donations, I know many of them go to third world countries, I know many of them get resold to families who can't afford to buy new coats and boots at Walmart or Target-- giving something away to be re-used is always better than thworing it away.

Meh...I am not satisfied knowing that what I donate (which I intend to go to a needy person) is being sold to a company to make rags, in which they then sell to the public. Shrug.

There's a man in our neighborhood with some kind of learning disability. He had a bike that he rode into town to work folding boxes for a local takeout place and a few other things. When his bike was either stolen or run into and broken, the local bike shop donated a new bike right away. He loves parades and the organizers always let him lead the parade down high street on his bike.

I got really sick after I gave blood, and then I lived in Germany and wasn't allowed to donate. I think they've relaxed some of the regulations for Germany and blood donation, but I'm a little afraid to donate. Maybe I should try again (if I'm allowed).
