I was reading about the Kansas City Secret Santa today and thought how much fun that would be. It made me start thinking what I would do if I had 40k to spare. So here are some questions.

1. If you had unlimited amounts of money, what type of Random Acts of Kindness would you do? At Christmas or otherwise.

2.

Good! Drivers should be paid wel - it's a sucky job sometimes.

I would think for most non-profit organizations, it's beneficial to everyone to have fairly well paid employees. As with most things, you often get what you pay for. If you want to have responsible, reliable drivers, wouldn't it be vital to pay someone enough that he or she is willing to stick around?

Bawwahhhaa..yep... that's it, you've figured me out...

The point is that the money everyone is claiming goes to the charity to help people does NOT, A LOT of it goes to the drivers that are hired by them.

They get paid by the load. The load that will be sold for money, not given back to the needy.

Yes dear- the drivers work for the charity = they get paid. it's called gainful employment.

Without the job provided by that charity, that driver would be unemployed, and then would be using valuable public and private resources. And then there's the whole "give a mana fish; teach a man to fish" thing.
