I was reading about the Kansas City Secret Santa today and thought how much fun that would be. It made me start thinking what I would do if I had 40k to spare. So here are some questions.

1. If you had unlimited amounts of money, what type of Random Acts of Kindness would you do? At Christmas or otherwise.

i really need to get back to this...when #4 hit 3yrs... i stopped doing some of the things we use to do, its almost like breaking a tradition...shame on me. The last homeade we did was the handprints in cement with the colored stones and glass. They are all in my moms garden...

I show on the news tonite about domestic violence on the rise during holidays round here...i thought of this thread. Giving to women shelters!

We've donated through the Heifer Project before, the kids Sunday School classes usually collect for them every other year or so rotating with the Christmas box charity.

When my grandmother passed a few years ago, one of the items my Aunt gave to me was a pillow case I made her as a child, she still had it all those years! It was pretty cool.

That's a great idea, I like the "Twelve Days of Service" idea.

It would and go a long way in providing for others. My kids have worked at food pantries over the years and ds2 needs to do a service project for school, I'm thinking that a food pantry would be a good idea....that or the 12 days of serving.
