I was reading about the Kansas City Secret Santa today and thought how much fun that would be. It made me start thinking what I would do if I had 40k to spare. So here are some questions.

1. If you had unlimited amounts of money, what type of Random Acts of Kindness would you do? At Christmas or otherwise.

2.

My dd15, ds13, ds 11, my husband and myself went to the library yesterday to stock up on books for the vacation. It was a fun family event and rare nowadays.

Dd called me a week ago and told me in an awed tone of voice that her university allows them to borrow books over the holidays. She was drooling over what she might borrow for her Christmas break.

I am sure that there were years when the book was not the most thrilling of dd's presents. But she always ended up reading them and appreciating them somewhere along the line. As long as she doesn't get as bad as her dad (20,000 books and they are still pelting through the mail box on a weekly basis), we'll be ok.

That would be the expression that I would see at 3 years old as well! Heck, that is the expression now most times. Books are a big favorite around here at all ages.
