Which do I use the most? It depends on the circumstances. For most things work related, I use email. It's the quickest and easiest way to get info out to a large number of people. If I just need to get a quick reminder or note to one or two people, and/or of something of a more personal nature, I will text. If I am going back and forth with someone, in text, more than just a couple of times, I will just use the phone.

I try to, at least once a week (but is often once every couple of weeks) make a personal call to those people who I send emails to on a regular basis, just to follow up that they've received my messages, answer any questions they have, etc.

Dh and I text during the day, when one or the other of us can't really take the time to take a call, but he always calls me when he's driving home in the evening. We probably use texts and phone calls equally with hte kids.

I don't use fb messaging very often. When I do, it's always of a personal nature. I prefer personal of professional email. I've had to *redirect* people to professional email....b/c some department leaders seemed to think that FB status updates were an acceptable form of communication. @@

" If it's an urgent matter, I call...unless it's someone inside the office, in which case I just say, "Hey, ____...."

Yeah...lets not forget person to actual person contact, lol.

email, most definitely. the vast majority of my work communication is via email, and a lot of personal communiation is too.

2nd would be phone - for both work and personal.

3rd would be IM for personal, snail mail for work

4th is text for personal. IM for work

5th would be snail mail for personal.

I don't text for work purposes.

I didn't include texting for work because it happens so infrequently, but it does happen.
