Your opinions....

1.)   SeaWorld and O.S.H.A.  Will the Supreme Court allow trainers to swim with the killer whales after the 2010 death of trainer Dawn Brancheau?  (O.S.H.A. ordered trainers to no longer swim with the orcas in the SeaWorld pools.)   http://news.yahoo.com/seaworld-appeal-could-force-taming-popular-orca-shows-100122978--sector.html

2.)   High School football ~ Should schools continue to allow a contact sport which is known to cause concussions?  Is there really a safer helmet?

3.)   The Central Park Jogger "Five" ~ now all out of jail after having finished their sentences.  Were they guilty or not guilty?

4.)   NSA spying on other world leaders' conversations.  Right or wrong?

Don't forget cheerleading. It's one of the sports that creates the most injuries.

I think they should be safer and think Sea World should trend toward education more than entertainment.  Both of my kids have been involved in the education programs there and those were very good.

2.)   High School football ~ Should schools continue to allow a contact sport which is known to cause concussions?  Is there really a safer helmet?

Anyone who knows anything about sports knows that concussions are not limited to football, so a school would have to broaden this to outside of football.  Contact sports that are known to cause concussions include (but of course are not limited to ) the following:  soccer, wrestling, basketball, field hockey, lacrosse and of course football.  I think high schools should be proactive and diligent in their prevention and treatment of all injuries.  Both of my kids had to take base line testing for concussions before playing any contact sport for example and I know the testing following the concussion is pretty detailed before they will clear a player.

Yes, there are safer helmets and I advocate for any child who is playing football to purchase their own helmet, not use a school issued one.

I don't know enough about the case.

4.)   NSA spying on other world leaders' conversations.  Right or wrong?

I would think that it's common, across the board.

1.)   SeaWorld ~

I think OSHA will continue to prove it's an inherently dangerous and unnatural situation to have orcas and trainers in the same pool again.  In 50 years, I hope SeaWorld goes the way of all bad amusement parks.

2.)   High School football ~ Should schools continue to allow a contact sport which is known to cause concussions?  Is there really a safer helmet?

It's inherently dangerous and football should be outlawed in school.

3.)   The Central Park Jogger "Five" ~ now all out of jail after having finished their sentences.  Were they guilty or not guilty?

Not guilty.

4.)   NSA spying on other world leaders' conversations.  Right or wrong?

I care almost as little about the whole NSA sensation as about Benghazi.  Give it a modest nod and move on.  Boring.
