In an effort to make food in schools healthier, some school districts have actually banned cupcakes at school birthday celebrations.

That 6.75oz/200 ml pouch has 27-28 grams of sugar in it. You found evidence that a serving of Juicy Juice grape has 29grams of sugar in it BUT that serving came from a bottle where the stated serving size is 240ml, 40 ml more than the puch of Capri Sun. But Juicy Juice in a 6.75 oz/200 ml juice box (grape) has 25 grams of sugar in it.

In other words, Capri Sun has more sugar in it than Juicy Juice. But you can consume more grams of sugar by drinking a larger volume of Juicy Juice. I don't know why Juicy Juice decided a serving was 240ml when in a bottle but 200ml when in a box, but they did. And that difference in volume is what gives the illusion of Capri Sun having less sugar- but only if you compare unequal vlumes. To put it another way, if you decide you are willing to consume 29 grams of sugar, you can drink 240ml of Juicy Juice but only 200ml of Capri Sun.

I have had that but I prefer my grapes squashed and made into wine.

And? There are people who sleep around all the time without any protection and never get STDs. Doesn't make being a slut a healthy choice. There are people who smoke all their lives and never get lung disease or heart disease. Doesn't make smoking a healthy choice.

Choosing not to exercise is not a healthy choice. Choosing to consume foods with processed sugars in preference over those with natural sugars is not a healthy choice. Eating Twinkies is never part of a balanced, healthy diet.

And anyone who claims otherwise cannot legitimately claim to have "learned to eat healthy" or be a credible "witness" for her own lifestyle.

Ugh, trans fats. Look up the molecular structure on those babies and tell me they're not a problem.

I'm such a geek. LOL

Well no because she'd be a grown woman. But a 5 ft tall 9 year old should probably weigh much less than a grown woman.
I was under 100 pounds and 5ft 6 when I was around 12 or 13. Wasnt till I was around 16 or 17 I gained another inch of height and another 10 pounds. Little girls are generally scrawnier than grown woman--as well they should be!

I don't know about that... I mean, carbon monoxide is just one element away from carbon dioxide. One molecule makes a lot of difference in a lot of things. I mean, our bodies are 96% carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen.

I will try and explain it.

Unsaturated fats are structured in such a way that they curl up, so they can't stack up to one another. Saturated fats are saturated with hydrogen so that they are like blocks, and can stack. Trans fats (hydrogenated) are unsaturated fats with hydrogens artificially added, so that they not only stack, but they kind of lock together. If I could find pictures of the molecules it would make more sense... LOL.
