In an effort to make food in schools healthier, some school districts have actually banned cupcakes at school birthday celebrations.

Coke adds vitamins now too. That doesn't mean it is a good source of nutrition.

I do see sugar is one of the highest things besides water but there are other things in the juice but just sugar.

Why are you assuming that I just eat everything bad? This is what I had today, so far:

Breakfast-Oatmeal/Water

Lunch-Salad (Lettuce/Tomato/Cucumber/Cut up Ham with Balsalmic Vinegar-----Twinkie

Snack-Cup of mixed fruit in light juice

Dinner-4 small Chicken Nuggets/Mac & Cheese (small amount)/Beets (lots)

Dessert/Snack-Bowl of Cheerios

I don't know if you have read my other posts but I do exercise as I have a fulltime job, house, 2 very active kids, a dh and a dog. I am always on the go. I am always moving and walking around. I have had everything checked by more than 1 doctor and I am considered healthy.

"People get fat because they eat too much and exercise too little. Period."

Great. we love hearing that one too. I can ride 50 mile on my road bike in under 3 hours I've done 100 miles in 8 hours, I work out 4-5 times a week and have cut everything fun but wine and ice cream out of my diet and I'm still about 30 pounds over what i 'should' be... THIS IS WHO I AM. the next time you feel compelled to think that every overweight person is just one big couch potato think of me and how hard I work and How much effort I put in to being "just this chubby.'

Yes. We. Did.
