In an effort to make food in schools healthier, some school districts have actually banned cupcakes at school birthday celebrations.

<this is one reason I don't weigh myself. b/c numbers only tell a bit of the story and I refuse to live my life by what
Well I'm sorry you find it "dicusting" teach.
You keep bring up the pledge & the other stuff. My kids play tag & their school says the pledge every day. It's a public school. Red Rover is a bit hard on the arms. I'd bet a lot of kids had broken bones or sprains from playing it.

This has been banned at MANY public school around the nation.
hey my kids play tag, say the pledge and PRAY.....
Yes. We. Did.
It is not every school but these bans have happened and I think they are ridiculous.
Ok I've heard that on places like Fox news (the pledge is banned) but I asked about her school specifically. When I hear someone say the pledge is banned I wonder if this is from personal experience or they've just heard that some schools have banned it . . . some unspecified amount.
I wonder because our school district says the pledge every day. Also tag is not banned. Again that sounds like something Bill O'Reilly would report on his show on Fox News & claim that Tag is being banned right & left by liberals, if he heard one school didn't allow it.
I fully agree tag is just fine but if I could I would draft a consitutional amendment against the game of dodgeball --it's like that scene in 'chicken little' when the coach says "ok all you unpopular kids on one team, all the popular kids on the other --and GO!'
