In an effort to make food in schools healthier, some school districts have actually banned cupcakes at school birthday celebrations.

Bone structure definitely is a factor, as you and I have discussed before. I am 5'6" and small boned-if I get much over 130, I start looking decidedly chubby. I dont carry extra weight well at all.

Sure possible. Just not likely. But you could send a nice letter to the corporations asking them not to use the HFCS or whatever we are talking about to make food healthier. Please let me know if they change anything.

Pick-up games of dodgeball? Then I stand tragically corrected. But at least it never really caught fire like soccer (it's a GOOD thing that soccer caught fire). And even if there were pickup games here and there, adults don't seem to wax nostalgic about it or try to re-create the dodgeball of their youth like middle aged guys on a basketball court. And the only movie to pay homage to it is "Dodgeball" by Ben Stiller. Which doesn't really pay homage to it so much as double over laughing at it. Ben Stiller cracks me up.

Food still has MSG. It didn't go away. It just stopped being an issue in the media for some reason. If you have some Campbell's Classic Chicken Noodle soup in your cupboard right now, check the label. (I picked that because it's in my cupboard and it's such a common soup.) Or check the ingredient list at www.peapod.com

Yup, it's got monosodium glutamate. And it does not stand alone in that. My BIL gets migraine headaches from MSG so he has to read all the food labels to avoid it. There are a lot of foods that have it. It just stopped being news.
