In an effort to make food in schools healthier, some school districts have actually banned cupcakes at school birthday celebrations.

It doesn't work at not hurting feelings in my case.

Since when is it a "right" to celebrate your child's birthday IN school?
<>
Um, think or know?
Yes. We. Did.
I always think to myself "Self, just because you INVITE 40 kids, doesn't mean they'll all show up."
i didnt say to ban sugar from them completely..what you do with your child is your business but why on earth does it need to come into a classroom?
i also never once said it was going to make them obese..i said it was the attitude of parents who threw a fit bc cupcakes werent going to be aloud in the classroom that contributed to the way society has become.
a classroom is a place for children to learn....not for birthday parties. that is what most people agree on at least.
