In an effort to make food in schools healthier, some school districts have actually banned cupcakes at school birthday celebrations.

Dylan just brings home the water bottle and it gets refilled for the next day.

No. I am wondering if they should though since I am shrinking and I do have the beginning stages of arthritis in my foot.

Then you would probably like the following VERY old-fashioned Danish dish:

In a pan, put a layer of sliced apples and onoins with salt and pepper. Above put a grate with slices of salted pork. Put it in the oven so the pork gets brown and crispy and the fat drips into the apples and onions cooking below.

It seems to me that it would be prudent to check it out. Breaks in the bones of the foot are characteristic in instances of low bone density. I only know this because I used to take ballet classes at a fairly serious studio. Many of the young women who were ballet freaks had very low body fat with ensuing estrogen deficiencies, which meant that many of them had poor bone density, in spite of their extreme youth. One of the symptoms of this was frequent bone cracks in the feet.

Maybe the doc didn't check it out because I injured it pretty badly causing the break. I was playing volleyball and I ran after an out of reach ball ,twisted my foot hard and fell on it. I will talk to my regular physician about it at my next check-up though.

That does sound good.

You should most definitely get it checked out. If you are a small-boned, slim person and are already shrinking, you are at a big risk for osteoperosis!

Exercise alone? Probably not, at least not for

Dh's family is like that too. My MIL has extremely high cholesterol, although she rarely eats meat and dairy (she never liked it). OTOH, she is 82 and feisty as ever. Apparently the only thing that works for them to keep it down is lots and lots of exercise.
