Punishment? To not have cupcakes in class? Wow. I must be getting punished a lot then, as I can't have margaritas at work ... I can't bring pizza to my job interview ... I can't eat fajitas in my college class ... I can't take an ice cream cone to Mass ...
What did I do to deserve such punishment?!?
Yeah well, that's just, ya know, like, your opinion, man-The Big Lebowski
Now I can't do that for my son and I make the best cupcakes. I want to be that cupcake mom. Come to think of it if you never get to eat one of my cupcakes that is punishment.
Depends on your definiton of wrong.
So, this is about *you* missing out on the glory of being cupcake mom.
Huh, I kinda thought this should be about the kids.
Well, I guess your son and his friends will just have to eat cupcakes at YOUR house; after all a ban at the school on cupcakes hardly limits your ability to bake and serve cupcakes elsewhere.
Besides, by the time one is old enough to be a Mom, one should be old enough to grasp and explain the concept of "You don't always get what you want, exactly the way you wanted it."
No one is being deprived of cupcakes; the school has simply said, "this is not the proper venue."
