I've been thinking about the recent discussion about "opinions" and the Imus case comes to mind as an example, an extreme example for sure...but an example none the less.

Here's a link to one of the many stories about this issue

I think my point was pretty clear. So in your opinion every rapper that uses the N word is a racist?

<<>>

WOuld I leap to their defense? If they couldnt defend themselves yes of course I would. Remember I am the one that says I believe in Free Speech, and that people that make stupid comments can be fired back at.

<<>>

Yes I tell my children this all the time.

<<>>

This is a great theory but doesnt really apply to what I said. A racist would never apologize for their statements. That is why I used the KKK as an example. If Imus were a racist he would have never apologized for the statements he made.

In simple terms..I can but you cant. Not an acceptable notion.

<<>>

I wasnt pointing any fingers at you personally...just the taking back notion.

<<>>

That is why we are here. It is really a silly idea that we can but you cant.

<<>>

I agree partially. This is why if you dont like racial slurs then dont use the words yourself. It ruins the crediability of the person.
