We don't have cell reception around certain parts of our area. Some of it is because of nimbyism and towers- some is because the government seems to jam the signals. I have never been able to get coverage when I drive by Langley.

And did anything ever happen to your child while they were in school or away from you? I would think that someone, a teacher, principal, etc. would be there with your child if something did happen and they couldn't get you on the phone right away.
I think this thread is going to the extreme as I am sure the majority of children are never in this type of situation growing up.
