"<>

No, that would be incorrect actually. I have more than one child and they attend different schools, so the problem is still there."

I wasn't aware of that.

"<>

Why is that relevant? But lets see, due to various reasons....I have been about 15 times this year."

Maybe am I the odd one out but I don't think I have been to a hospital 15 times in my entire life so to name that as a place not to get service would be not something I would think of right away.

"<>

Yes and it's a few miles of spotty service on a regular, at least twice daily basis."

Wouldn't that be just a few minutes though? Not sure if I would worry about that little of time being contacted.

Let's see....more places: in the pool in the backyard-you never leave your phone by the pool so you can hear it if it rings?

I don't have a waterproof phone, in the shower,--how long of a shower do you take-lol!!

corner of the backyard...the land line unit doesn't stretch that far,--wow that must be far, my landline goes all the way to the end of my block!

on some field trips, dh has to check is in in certain areas at work due to osha regulations, the underground garage in my building and so forth....all non remote areas.

These all just seem so silly that they would only be a few minutes of not getting a hold of you. Sorry but the whole thread is becoming redundant and silly.

Most cell phones and other electronic devices now have some mechanism that prevents a battery from being overcharged. It used to be an issue but if your cell phone is less than five years old, it really isn't anymore.

Michelle did. Family nearby isn't a blessing for PA. Family is only a blessing if you get along with them your entire life. Why she would assume that PA didn't mean that is beyond me.
