For me it wouldn't depend on the child's age, it would depend on the what was going on at the moment and if dh was asleep when I left, I would let him sleep.

I would have left a note though, but hindsight is 20/20.

But when I left to pick up the kid, I was picking him up from a party and intending to come straight home. I had no clue the Brainiac had dislocated his finger.

Well then there you go, you couldn't have left a message, my bad.

You would think by now that the ER would be the first place to look, lol.

"<>

Some were and some weren't, what's your point here?"

Again, I must be the odd one out as I couldn't add up that much time in a hospital in one year.

"I don't take my cell phone down to the pool because as I said, it's not waterproof and pools tend to have water and splashing about and the land line as I have already explained, doesn't reach into the depth of the backyard."

Oh well, I have never had that experience with my cellphone by a pool.

"<<10-15 mins. in a shower is not a "few minutes"? A drive a couple of miles that does not allow cellphone service is not a "few minutes"? >>

No, they aren't....if fieldtrips and other times when cell phone service is not available such are only a few minutes for you...great, but they aren't for me."

Not sure how we went from taking a shower and driving a few miles through a rich town to taking a fieldtrip that lasts hours.

"<>

As it's been pointed out numerous times now, it's the context of this debate."

Again, if I did not state it, not sure why it is being said to me.

"<>

I'm not understanding this question, can you rephrase? I will however repeat my answers from before, having a cell phone varied while I was a sahm."

Did you sahm, fulltime (meaning not working at all) at different times? How long for each time?

"<>

Again, yes. Is there a reason you keep asking the same questions over and over?

You didn't answer my question....why wouldn't I use the definition that has been defined on this board?"

Why would you take the definition of posters on a messageboard and not by one in an actual dictionary? Do you take the opinions of others on messageboards about other definitions?
