What do you mean by wear makeup? I wear lipstick and mascara. That's it. And I usually don't put it on untilI get to work--the lipstick that is. On weekends I forgo the mascara.

I wasn't sure how to respond, so I answered "yes, but only for work/going out". Truthfully, the only time I wear make-up is for work. Matter of fact, I just ordered over $100 in make-up because after being home for years, not working, all my make-up was 3 or more years old...EWWWW!!! All I can say is thank God for Arbon, and their light-weight make-up, because I normally HATE make-up, but the Arbon line isn't so bad.

I can leave the house without it, but not often. I don't like people looking at me and thinking I can't get my tribe together long enough to slap some make up on my face or iron my clothes. It's not that I don't think they do it to other moms, but when folks look a a mom of 1 or 2 and she is wrinkled and undone, they just think that she is busy. When a mom of 4 or more looks that way, folks actually come out and say, "Why did you have all those kids if you weren't going to have time to take care of yourself?" Irritating. I went to the grocery store Tuesday with strep throat and someone actually made this same type of comment to the person they were with within earshot. I walked up as close as I could without being threatening and told them I had strep throat and a 103 degree fever. Then, I coughed. GRRRR!

I don't know! haha... I guess I should do another poll that says "How much make-up do you wear?"

I very, very rarely wear make-up. I wear make-up for our anniversary and for Christmas. I usually just wear blush, mascara and lipstick for those occasions.

I'd consider lipstick and mascara "make-up." For me, it's anything beyond lotion.

I like makeup. Its fun and I think it looks good on me. Like a cool outfit, a nice hairstyle, etc. makeup is there to complement one's looks.

That said, I'm not uncomfortable not wearing it either, but its really just part of my daily routine. If we are camping or fishing, or I'm on the beach, doing yard work, running ,at the gym, I dont wear it of course. But if I am going out and about, I like wearing it.

I asked because everyone who knows me thinks I don't wear makeup, because lipstick and mascara don't really count. But I am in Texas, and Texas women tend to wear lots and lots of makeup, and haircrap, too. I think I am probably the only person in my office who doesn't do the whole moisturizer, sunscreen, founadtion, powder, then blush, eyeliner, eyeshadow, lip liner, lipstick, etc. every day.

I chose "other" because it's something in between choice 1 and 2.

I always wear make up for work and for going out, but I do go out of the house to places w/o it. I don't find it a chore to put on make up, I don't feel it on (some don't like the "feel" of it on their skin), and my face sure looks better with make-up. I also grew up with "Teen" magazine where every issue had something about make-up.

What I usually use: foundation, powder, blush, eye liner, eye shadow, mascara, and sometimes lipstick. I also pluck my eyebrows.

I like make-up too, I just rarely wear it. The "compliment" my dh gives me is that I'm lucky I'm so naturally beautiful because I'm too lazy to keep up with any beauty regimen... LOL.. (Wait, is that a compliment or not?)
