If you celebrate Easter...

1. Are you eating at home, at someone else's home or going out to eat?

2. Have you decorated yet?

3. Have you gone shopping for you child's/children's baskets yet?

4. Do you decorate and hide eggs for your child/children?

Thanks. I knew it was coming up, but hadn't paid attention as to when. As an agnostic, we don't *celebrate* Easter.

I suspect my parents will want to have all the kids to their house, but we haven't discussed it.

2. Have you decorated yet?

I've never decorated for easter. Even when I was a churchgoer.

3. Have you gone shopping for you child's/children's baskets yet?

I do usually buy them basket stuff. I bought them egg-plants (flower seeds inside ceramic eggs) the other day.

4. Do you decorate and hide eggs for your child/children?

If they want to. They used to LOVE it; don't know if they'll be into it this year.

If you celebrate Easter...

1. Are you eating at home, at someone else's home or going out to eat?

We often go out to eat on Sunday but will probably do an Easter dinner thing at home. Haven't decided.

2. Have you decorated yet?

We don't put up any Easter decorations during Lent. On Easter morning I take down the Lenten reminders and put out the Easter things before the rest of the family wakes up.

3. Have you gone shopping for you child's/children's baskets yet?

We have never really done anything big in the way of gifts for Easter although I usually out a few trinkets in the kids' baskets. I have picked up a few things for the kids already and will buy the chocolate last minute....otherwise I will just have to buy twice!

4. Do you decorate and hide eggs for your child/children?

Not anymore...my kids are almost 13 and 16. But we help organize a neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt at the park down the road and the kids always pass out the flyers and then help fill and hide the eggs. The younger one will then sometimes get involved in finding the eggs because the "grand prize" is always a five dollar bill inside an egg and if nobody finds that in the first five or ten minutes, he gets all excited and starts looking. Or at least he has the last two years.

We're going to attempt to visit DH's parents, in which case we'll be eating at their home.

2. Have you decorated yet?
No, and hadn't planned to. What are typical Easter decorations?

3. Have you gone shopping for you child's/children's baskets yet?
Not yet, but since you reminded me I'll probably do that tomorrow.

4. Do you decorate and hide eggs for your child/children?
Joe is still too little to hunt for hidden eggs, but maybe he'll draw on some hard-boiled eggs. I definitely don't want to let him within a 10-mile radius of egg dye! LOL
