1. Do you celebrate Easter?

2. If so, what is on your menu (or the menu of where you are going)?

3. If so, how much do you usually spend on an Easter Baskets for the kids? (asking because I keep reading how Easter is turning into Christmas with kids asking for high priced items)

4. Are you working on Good Friday?

What "these things" are you referencing? The list I provided? If so, then you're most definitely wrong. The things on that list that I have bought for less than $20 each were not junk and would not be thrown in a drawer or broken quickly.

None of our DDs had their own cars until college, none when they started but as they became more of a necessity. The car was still owned by us throughout college. When they graduated from college it was their graduation present.

Oh, and are referring to EVERYTHING on that list? I doubt it.

None of the things I mentioned are cheap. They can be bought inexpensively, under $20, but they're not cheap.

Maybe I'm just a better shopper.

Actually, you said that you went there intentionally, b/c you knew that it wouldn't be as expensive as other places.

i have a friend whose family has three cars, almost four now because her 18 YO high school senior is going off to the army next year with the third car and she says her 16 YO needs her own car.

It must be regional. We have no problems with Target (except their return/exchange policy), but have become so annoyed with Wal-Mart quality that I had to copy and paste and send to my DH your post about shopping at Wal-Mart because you want quality. We have been on the phone laughing about it for the last few minutes.
