1.  Do your kids go to school on the last day of school?

2.  Do you throw (or let them throw) an end of year party for their friends?

3.  How many *graduation ceremonies* will/have your children experienced in their life time?

I have been making pies since I was a child, too. I'm only an average cook, but I bake like crazy. On birthdays or other special days, the honoree gets to choose his own homemade dessert. I usually make in the neighborhood of 3000 cookies at Christmas.

I really like making pie crusts, too.  Every time I make one, I'm amazed at how it all comes together with so few ingredients!

Honestly, I've never even tried to make a pie crust, lol. Why should I when Pilsbury will do it for me? ;)

It's magic, isn't it? It's kind of what I like about baking in general, the chemistry of it all.

This is the leftovers from tonight's dinner.  I fed six kids, three of which are teens.  We had white rice, which is a treat, so everyone over ate a bit, and there isn't as much left as *usual*.  We started with about 1.5lb of chicken.

I agree Jams, I was speaking more of Beverly Hills 90210, which actually came out in 1990 so a year out of the 80's.

That was the look in the 80s....  Really?  Are there any models from then that support these looks?  I remember the flashdance, off the shoulder look from the 80s, the baggy pants look etc..  But swing skirts and crop tees?  The express was where I shopped then but my girls won't step foot in there now...  I'm surprised express is still around actually, Lol.

This is what I was agreeing with Jams about.
